Prenatal Care (without homebirth)
- Monitoring of fetal growth and hearing the baby’s heartbeat, monitoring the mother’s blood pressure and urine checks, discussion and analysis of blood tests and ultrasounds.
- Discussion of aspects for all prenatal testing (eg: Down’s syndrome screening, Gestational Diabetes screening)
- Advice on nutrition, exercise and discomforts of pregnancy.
- Teaching optimal fetal positioning for easy labor.
- Visits regularly throughout your pregnancy in your home.
- No need to travel to doctors offices and waste time waiting for your 5 minute appointment (appointments with me last between 30 mins to an hour).
- Visits at a time that are convenient to you (and your partner if you wish).
- My service includes telephone and messaging/WhatsApp advice when things come up, as they regularly do
A prenatal care package is available upon request :
3600 shekels plus VAT for 9 visits of one hour in your home (including 1-2 postnatal visits) and including phone/messaging access throughout your pregnancy and postpartum (worth at least another appointment!).
Single visits are priced at 400 shekels plus VAT.
Significant refunds are available through Kupat Cholim.
Visits are in your own home at a mutually convenient time.
Post Natal Care

Visits are either part of the pre-natal package or are priced individually at 400 shekels plus VAT.
Visits are carried out in your own home at a mutually convenient time.
Refunds are available through the Kupat Cholim.
The Rebozo ceremony is priced at 700 shekels plus VAT
Diaphragm Fitting
A diaphragm is a silicone disc that comes in different sizes and in several types. A proper measurement by a skilled professional increases the chances of preventing pregnancy. To prevent pregnancy, it is inserted into the vagina to stop the passage of sperm into the cervix. The diaphragm is used with spermicide to increase its effectiveness and is estimated to be 94% effective with proper use.
The meeting takes place in a relaxed atmosphere in my clinic in Kochav Hashachar or in your home. The meeting lasts about an hour.
Other important details:
*The session includes a fitting (size) via an internal vaginal examination and guidance on usage.
*Drastic change in weight, strengthening the pelvic floor muscles or childbirth, can change your size and you may need a different sized diaphragm.
*The appointment should not be performed while the woman is during her period. Ideally it should be done during her fertile days (mid-cycle).
*For postpartum women, a diaphragm can be fitted from 7-8 weeks after birth.
*You should attend the appointment with a dress or skirt for your comfort.
Price: 500 shekels for a home visit, or 400 shekels if you come to my clinic. You will receive a receipt which you can present to the kupat cholim for a refund up to 6 months after birth. There are 3 types of diaphragm costing between 360 ₪ – 410 ₪ including shipping fees. A spermicide (Caya) can be purchased from me on the spot for 130 NIS. Shipping typically takes 2 days via courier.
You can pay by Bit, bank transfer, cheque or cash.
Prenatal Classes
I teach one-on-one classes according to the personal preferences of the mother and her partner. Options include a mini course of between 2-5 sessions for clients with limited time, and refresher classes for those having their second or more baby. Please be in touch for more details.
Prices for private classes are:
600 shekels (plus VAT) for a 2 hour session
1000 shekels (plus VAT) for 2 sessions of 2 hours each
1400 shekels (plus VAT) for 3 sessions of 2 hours each
Refunds are given if you birth in a Jerusalem Hospital and through your Kupat Cholim.

I am constantly updating my repertoire of classes available for doulas and groups of mothers to be. Please be in touch if you’d like me to teach a particular subject to a group. Specialty class on VBAC Secrets for mothers and doulas available in English and Hebrew.
